Fire Safety Consultant - London

Suitable applicants will have specialist Fire Safety experience with extensive knowledge of current legislation and its application in a healthcare setting. Good presentation skills and excellent writing skills are essential.
The role involves the provision of information, advice, training, audit and inspection to a wide range of clients. Candidates must have experience of writing and reviewing Fire Risk Assessments.

You will support development of Fire and Gas layouts, develop functional specifications for active and passive fire protection systems, participate in the purchase of safety and fire fighting equipment and prepare safety equipment layout drawings.
The successful candidate should be professionally qualified and have sufficient relevant experience in design contracting.

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join an established health and safety consultancy based in London. The successful candidate will provide consultancy services including audits, risk assessments (including fire), writing and revising policies and procedures, provision of ongoing health and safety advice, guidance and support, workstation and manual handling assessments. Client work may be with multiple clients or with a single client based on-site fo 1 year plus periods. You will also be required to carry out training and carry out administrative tasks associated with the above requirements.
We are looking for a positive individual with a minimum of 2 years health and safety experience, experience of working with health and safety policies and strategies, training skills, a good technical background and experience in a wide range of environments would be ideal. Candidates should be qualified to NEBOSH Diploma Level 6 and hold MIOSH (or equivalent).
Benefits include a salary to £35K, non-contributory pension of 6% of salary, company bonus/profit share, £1,500 annual training budget per person and regular performance appraisal and feedback.
