Quality Manager - Middlesex

We are looking for an experienced Quality professional to manage the Quality Department of an Engineering, Procurement and Construction Contractor. The successful applicant will manage all activities of the Quality group including managing the quality system, managing the internal and external interfaces for quality, resourcing for and managing quality needs of all projects, managing the quality certification requirements - most notably the ISO 9001 certification with LRQA and undertaking required trips to project sites to monitor quality performance, conduct audits etc.
Candidates must be experienced Quality professionals with 15+ years' experience within the E,P & C industies, mainly spent within quality roles. You should also have experience of managing a corporate quality system and be a certified auditor.
Health & Safety Officer - Nottingham

Our client, a freight specialist, require a Health and Safety Officer to effectively support the Health and Safety Manager in the provision of advice and assistance to management and employees on all matters relating to health and safety. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clerical and technical support to the Health and Safety Manager to assist in the maintenance of the Company H&S Management system. Duties will include assisting the Company to develop and promote a positive safety culture, advising managers and employess of their legal obligations with regard to H&S issues, assisting with Risk Assessments, Fire Safety and Emergency Procedures, managing sub contractors working on site and investigation of incidents.
Ideally candidates will be IOSH qualified and prepared to work towards the NEBOSH General Certificate, have excellent literacy and numeracy and previous experience in a similar role and working environment would be desirable.

They require an additional person with a good knowledge of the CDM Regulation as revised and adopted in April 2007. The successful applicant must be able to review, amend and update health and safety policies as well as assist with all aspects of health and safety documentation. You will be expected to compose when necessary pre-construction information packs, construction phase plans, risk assessment and method statements for clients.
The position is both office and site based and duties will include carrying out construction site health and safety inspections/ audits and attending meetings at client locations.
Candidates should hold the NEBOSH General Certificate as a minimum and have good knowledge of the CDM Regulations.

You will be required to provide training/advice/support in the performance of health and safety to personnel involved within the commercial property management sector. Duties will include on-site health and safety training, conducting site visits, contributing to the development of Company Health and Safety policy and procedures, attending meetings on a regular basis and assisting in the development and implementation of nationwide training requirements.
Candidates will ideally be qualified to NEBOSH Diploma level or equivalent (or working towards this), have proven health and safety experience in operational or facilities management, hold a clean driving license and have excellent interpersonal skills.

Site HSE Manager sought to work on an LNG project in Yemen for a 16 month duration. You will manage and report on all aspects of HSE relating to the project's operations, oversee and coordinate HSE operation in construction and commissioning activities, compile and maintain accident and incident statistics and oversee and monitor the training of project personnel in HSE at work.
Ideally candidates will have not less than 12 years experience in safety, preferably in petrochemical construction, hold a recognised qualification in safety (such as the NEBOSH Diploma) and have experience in the use of Quality and Environmental Management Systems ISO 9000 and ISO 14001 and related auditing requirements.
