Quality Manager - Middlesex

We are looking for an experienced Quality professional to manage the Quality Department of an Engineering, Procurement and Construction Contractor.  The successful applicant will manage all activities of the Quality group including managing the quality system, managing the internal and external interfaces for quality, resourcing for and managing quality needs of all projects, managing the quality certification requirements - most notably the ISO 9001 certification with LRQA and undertaking required trips to project sites to monitor quality performance, conduct audits etc.

Candidates must be experienced Quality professionals with 15+ years' experience within the E,P & C industies, mainly spent within quality roles.  You should also have experience of managing a corporate quality system and be a certified auditor.

Our client, a freight specialist, require a Health and Safety Officer to effectively support the Health and Safety Manager in the provision of advice and assistance to management and employees on all matters relating to health and safety.  The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clerical and technical support to the Health and Safety Manager to assist in the maintenance of the Company H&S Management system.  Duties will include assisting the Company to develop and promote a positive safety culture, advising managers and employess of their legal obligations with regard to H&S issues, assisting with Risk Assessments, Fire Safety and Emergency Procedures, managing sub contractors working on site and investigation of incidents.

Ideally candidates will be IOSH qualified and prepared to work towards the NEBOSH General Certificate, have excellent literacy and numeracy and previous experience in a similar role and working environment would be desirable.

Health & Safety Advisor/CDM Administrator - Essex
